CTE Audio Engineering
Audio Engineering is a brand new course being offered for the first time for 2022-23. Students who take the course will learn the basics of setting up sound for live performances and recordings. The key concepts of audio engineering will be covered and hands-on experiences such as running the mixing board in the theater will be integrated. Students who are also musicians will have the opportunity to perform live and create recordings of the music they have learned during the year. This course will give students a chance to participate in music without having to play an instrument. This course will be in the CTE industry sector of Arts, Media, and Entertainment, and will be in the Performing Arts Pathway.
