Welcome Kamaljit Pannu--New VP

Mountain House High School would like to proudly announce that Kamaljit (Kamal) Pannu is joining the MHHS Administration as our new Vice-Principal.  Our former VP, Jessica Libbee, accepted a position as a principal in another school district, and Mr. Pannu is joining our team to fill the position.
Kamal has been working in the education field since 2009. Before joining the Mustang community, Kamaljit served as Dean of Students and Assistant Principal in the San Lorenzo Unified School District, in addition to working as the Assistant Principal at Bethany Elementary School last year.

Kamaljit obtained his Bachelor's Degree in Political Science from UC Davis, and his Master's Degree and Administrative Credential from San Francisco State University.

For the upcoming school year, Kamaljit will oversee student discipline and attendance for all students. He looks forward to developing students' strengths in their intellectual, emotional, and social domains and making sure students are ready to achieve success.

Walk-Through Registration--DATA CONFIRMATION

What:  DATA CONFIRMATION STEP for Walk-Through Registration
When:  BEFORE you come to your Walk-Through Registration Appointment
Who:  Parents/Guardians
Where:  On the Aeries Parent Portal CLICK HERE

BEFORE parents and students come to walk through, students must complete the Data Confirmation in the Aeries Parent Portal.  When logged into the portal parents should see a link at the top of the screen to begin the Data Confirmation Process.  Please see the image below:

If you have multiple students at MHHS, please ensure to complete this process with each student by clicking on the "Change Student" button at the top of your screen. 

If you have forgotten your password, please click on the "Forgot Password" link.  New families would need to create a new account and would need to obtain their Pin code from the school registrar, Joy Garcia in the main office at 209.836.7460.

Please remember that all families MHHS should have signed up for a Walk-Through registration appointment on one of the two Walk-Through Dates on August 1st or 2nd.  If you have not done this yet, please find the information about dates, times and appointments HERE.

Athletic Booster Membership

What:  Time to Join Athletic Boosters
Who:  ANY parents with Students who will play a sport this year
When:  NOW!!

Mountain House High School Athletic Boosters Club (ABC) is a school connected non-profit organization run by parent volunteers that supports the athletic programs at Mountain House High School.  MHHS ABC is essential to providing volunteer and financial support behind the athletics programs at MHHS.  EVERY family who has students involved in sports during ANY season of the year should join the MHHS ABC, and will be expected to provide volunteer support for concessions workers, spirit wear sales, team parents, and special event coordinating.  

SIGN UP TODAY for AT LEAST the basic level of membership for AT LEAST one adult in your family
OR

Consider signing up for higher levels of membership and receive extra perks and benefits for your membership.  All membership fees and donations to the MHHS ABC are Tax-Deductible, and go to support your student-athlete.

Signing up is easy.  You can print out the Booster Club Membership HERE form and bring it to Walk-Through registration with you to make payment by cash, check, or credit card at the ABC booth.

First day of Football Practice

First Day of Football Practice starts Thursday 7/25.

Meet on the field, ready to go at 4:30pm. Equipment will be passed out at 5:00pm

Fall Athlete and Parent "Meet the Coaches" Meeting


What:  Fall Athlete and Parent "Meet the Coaches" Meeting
When: August 1st 7:00pm (after Walk-Through Registration)
Where: Theater
What: One-stop shop for all things in regards to athletics.
Who:  ALL STUDENTS and their parents interested in playing fall sports.

MHHS will have a "Meet the Coaches" meeting on August 1st.  All students and parents of students who are interested in Fall sports are invited and encouraged to attend. The following will occur at this meeting:

  • During this meeting, Mr. Galindo, the athletic director, will introduce the fall coaches and provide some general information about the fall athletic season, eligibility requirements, and clearances.  
  • Each sports team will have a breakout session where coaches will meet with parents for the first time, go over schedules and expectations, and organize student-parent representatives for each team.  
  • Athletic Boosters are ready to get all parents signed up for the Booster Club to support athletics at MHHS.  All parents of student-athletes should join the Booster club at some level to support the athletics programs at MHHS.  Download and print the membership form and bring it with you to the meeting:  CLICK HERE FOR FORM
  • Sign up for your concession stand assignment and other Booster volunteer opportunities.  We can't run athletics programs without support from our parents! (Each family is expected to volunteer for concessions assignments so bring your calendars to get first pick at your date)

Freshman Orientation Reminder

What:  Freshman Orientation
When:  July 31, 2019
Time:  8:00 A.M. to 12:00 P.M.
Who:  All incoming Freshmen at MHHS
Where:  MHHS Large Gym

All incoming Freshman of the class of 2023 are invited to our annual Freshman Orientation day here at MHHS.  Students will come to learn more about their new school, meet mentor students who will be with them to help them through their transition to high school, and learn all of the ins and outs of High School life. There is no make-up Freshman Orientation, so put this on your calendars and plan to be there!

Walk-Through Registration will take place on August 1st from 1:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M. and August 2nd from 9:00 A.M. to 3:00 P.M.  You must sign up for a registration time ONLINE through our appointment maker.

Football Chain Gang Needed

Calling all Mountain House Clubs and Organizations! Mountain House High School is looking for representatives of MH organizations to serve as volunteers at one of our Football Games as the "chain gang." We're looking for adult volunteers from our community, not from student clubs. Here are the specifics:
Pick a Date: 8/23, 8/30, 9/27, 10/4, 10/18
Reporting Time: 4:45 p.m.
Number of games on each date: 2 Football games
Number of people needed for each game: 3 per game (can split the two games between 2 groups of 3)
No experience necessary! Our Athletic Director and the referees will train you on the day of your assignment.
MHHS athletics will recognize your group on the night that you choose to provide this essential community service. Get a group together and respond to principal Ben Fobert at bfobert@lammersvilleusd.net.

Calling all students 7th-12th grade to join the MHHS Colorguard.  If you are interested in being part of the award-winning marching band program, but don't play an instrument, now is your chance.  The Colorguard is an essential part of the marching band as it adds color, life and vibrancy to the marching band performance.  NO EXPERIENCE NECESSARY!  Come be a part of the marching band by signing up for Band Camp here:  www.tinyurl.com/MHBC2019

Water Polo Conditioning

What:  Water Polo Conditioning Workouts
When:  July 16, 18, 23, 25
Time:  8:00 A.M.-9:30 A.M.
Place:  MHHS Pool
Who:  ALL Boys and Girls interested in playing Water Polo this year.

ATTENTION to all students interested in playing Water Polo this school year.  Our first conditioning workouts will take place on July 16th, 18th, 23rd and 25th from 8:00 A.M. - 9:30 A.M.  Come to meet your coaches, learn the rules of the game, and get ready for our next water polo season.  
All students participating must have completed the athletic clearance.  Students who still need to complete this need to have a physical and have their doctor fill out the physical form HERE, AND  must complete the online athletic clearance process by visiting our athletic clearance website at www.athleticclearance.com.
