The Mountain House High School Biomedical Pathway has an articulation agreement with Ohlone College. Students may take the Ohlone College Biotechnology 105 test and receive 4 transferrable credits if they achieve an 80% or higher and a B or higher in the MI and BI classes. In conjunction with the agreement Ohlone College sponsors a pizza and quiz bowl competition for high school students who are studying the biotechnology content. On February 21st two teams of students from MHHS competed against other high school teams. It was a fun night with a few pop culture questions thrown in. Mountain House team Parinita Jithendra, Adithi Varma, Aarush Maddela and Chinmayi Mutyala won second place in the bracketed tournament. . Students in the second place team received $30 Amazon gift cards. We look forward to a rematch next year.
