Speech and Debate Awards

Please join us in congratulating our Speech and Debate team for placing so well in the international rounds of competition, and placing them in the top 32 teams in the WORLD! 

In addition, last weekend Speech and Debate attended an invitational tournament and brought home some awards.  Please join me in congratulating the following students:

Vishnu Matta - 1st place Humorous Interp
Eleana Paneda - 6th place Oratorical Interpretation
Astrid Mann - 8th place (semi finalist)
Manreet Sohi -9th place (semi finalist)
Sumaiya Alvi - 8th place (semi finalist)
Anisha Yeddinpudi - 11th place (semi finalist)
Lizzie Sue - Lincoln Douglas debate - octos finalist (top 24)
Saaksum Madan and Udith K - Public Forum debate - quarters  (top 16)

All of the students earned a bid to the National Tournament of Champions (NIETOC)... two of them completed their qualifications to attend ...so, Astrid Mann and Manreet Sohi will be headed to Houston, TX this May... the rest are fighting to join them!
