2020 Spring Sports Information

Please see below for details and information in regards to the start of all of our Spring Sports Teams. All questions specific to each sport can be sent to the head coaches' email which can be found below.

  • Track and Field
    • Coach: Cassie Hodgson, cgstrein@lammersvilleusd.net
    • Pre-season workouts will begin January 14th on the MHHS Track. Workouts will be every Tuesday & Thursday until February 6th.
    • Practices begin February 10th at  3:45PM - 5:15PM MEET ON TRACK  until Feb. 13th 
    • Season Practice will be Monday through Thursday 3:45PM - 5:15PM
  • Baseball
    • Varsity Head Coach: Stephen Gatehouse sgatehouse@lammersvilleusd.net 
    • JV Head Coach: Daniel Cuslidge dcuslidge@lammersvilleusd.net
    • Frosh Head Coach: TBA
    • Prospective players should join our Remind group by texting the message "@mhhsbase" to the number 81010.
    • Preseason conditioning will be Monday/Wednesday/Friday from 3:45-4:30 beginning January 7th. The weight room will also be open daily during Success for those who do not have a Weight Training class - check with Coach Dias to get on the Success roster.
    • Pitchers/catchers week runs from Monday 2/3-Friday 2/7 from 3:45-4:45.
    • Tryouts for all levels begin on Monday 2/10, time TBA (no school), and will run all week from 3:45-5:30. All players will get a minimum of three days to try out; players in winter sports will get three days from the end of their winter sports season to try out.
  • Boys Golf
    • Coach: Grant Davis gdavis@lammersvilleusd.net
    • Preseason conditioning will be Monday/Wednesday/Friday from 3:45-4:30 beginning Monday 1/13 in the weight room.
    • Tryouts for all levels begin on Monday 2/10, time @ 1:00 Tracy Golf & Country Club(TGCC), and will run the balance of the week from 3:45-5:30 at (TGCC). All players will get a minimum of three days to try out; players in winter sports will get three days from the end of their winter sports season to try out. Possible JV team depending on Tryout attendance.
  • Boys Tennis
  • Boys Volleyball
    • Coach: Michelle Laban, mlaban@lammersvilleusd.net 
    • Conditioning/Weight training starting this week on Tuesdays & Fridays from 4:00PM-6:00PM. **Meet in front of the weight room before each conditioning session.
    • Last week in January conditioning will be Monday, Wednesday, Friday from 4:00PM-6:00PM.
    • Mandatory Conditioning for athletes not in a sport starts on February 3-7 every day from 4:00PM-6:00PM.
    • Tryouts begin February 10th

  • Co-Ed Swimming
  • Softball
    • Coach: Allison Noble, anoble@lammersvilleusd.net
    • Workouts will start January 14th and will be consistent Tue-Thurs from 4:00 PM TO 5:30 PM
    • Tryouts will begin on February 10th, pitchers and catchers on February 5-6th
