SUCCESS! 2.0 Implementation Update

As you may know or may have heard, SUCCESS! 2.0 is well underway for the new school year.  We have a new online system for students to choose their SUCCESS! activities on a daily basis, and we are hoping our new procedures address the needs we have seen through the data we have collected over the past several years.  Ultimately our goal is to get to a place where all students have the support they need to succeed in ALL of their classes.  Today's extended advisory lesson gave us the opportunity to respond to all of the feedback (good and bad) we have been getting from students.  Today's Advisory took the time to answer questions like:

  • Are we doing the new SUCCESS! 2.0 all year?
  • Why do "A" students have to go to SUCCESS!?
  • Why do I have to schedule a time to go see my teacher?
  • What is Catch-All?
  • Why don't the classes have a better description?
  • Do I earn credit for SUCCESS!?
In addition to answering these questions about SUCCESS!, students were notified of their opportunity to sign up for a future SUCCESS! activity called "SUCCES! 2.0 Focus Group" where students will be able to provide feedback and share ideas about how to make SUCCESS! better.

If you are interested in the answers to the above questions, as well as the other instruction given to students during today's Advisory lesson about SUCCESS!, see the slide presentation below:
