Black Student Union Conference

Students from Mountain House High School's Black Student Union attended the regional BSU conference held at CSU Monterey.  The conference focuesd on the history of African American students, professors, doctors, lawyers, teachers, philosophers and engineers, that have left their mark on the world. The conference was amazing and the students learned so much on how to "Learn it, Live it, Love it," and how to become more of a voice in their community. There were 76 schools at the conference 367 students. Our Mountain House students were among only 75 students selected to go to the Monterey Bay Aquarium.  Mountain House students also won a prize for having the best "vision board."  Students were given the challenge to create the board in only 10 minutes and came out as winners!
