Coach Grant Davis is such a great commentator, I'll let him tell you the story of the Lady Mustangs' success:
3/9-It was a wonderfully warm day, the only thing warmer were the HOT Clubs of the Lady Mustangs that were on 
FIREas they took on the arch rival Beyer, using a strategy unique to only to someone with who is a cunning genius, I mixed up the player pairing and changed the starting pair, this key decision, reminiscent of the Ryder Cup pairing of Tiger Woods and Davis Love III when they handily defeated their opponents 4-3(They won after the the 13th hole...a walk off) This move turned out to be critical as the Beyer Ladies came at us improving their last defeat by shooting 39 strokes less than our previous last match. Unfortunately for them, we also improved by the same 39 strokes, with Lia Hernandez and Evelyn Holtz shooting career bests. Congratulations to the Mighty Mustangs now 6-0 (that means we are undefeated in competition)
3/11-What a difference 2 days make, it was a bitterly Cold day at Tracy Golf & Country Club(so light on the Country Club you'll think DIet Coke has calories) Keeping with the 2nd half of the season strategy, we kept with the same player line up and it spurred Evelyn Holtz best her previous 9 hole score by 2, the young woman looks like a seasoned CEO at a Board Meeting laying down the dictates of the Shareholders as she moves aggressively forward in her golf career, humble, skilled and determined, I pity the opponent that has to go against the grain of this unstoppable force. As a Team we played well, did our work and got the Job done, as a Coach my saying is :"It's not important to keep the ball in the Fairway...as long as you're not picky about which Fairway". We walloped the Lathrop Spartans with a crushing 50+ stoke insurmountable lead and victory.
