Courageous Voice Forum

The Mountain House High School Administration, Faculty, Staff, and the entire Mustang Ohana have been appalled at the recent reports of  violent incidents reported across the country.  As a diverse family of learners and educators, we abhor and reject the attitudes of racism and hate exhibited by those who perpetrate these crimes.  To all in our community who are Asian or Asian American, we want you to know that we too share hurt, anger, heartache, and fear because of the latest violence that targeted those of Asian descent.  As a true Ohana (family), we stand against any act of hate, prejudice, and bias and declare our commitment to the diversity and unity that defines our school and community.  Together we will build a safer and more inclusive environment.  Never before, has it been more important as Mustangs to remember who we are, what we represent, and to show our Mustang Pride.

As a response to the recent events, Mountain House High School counseling department will again be holding our “Courageous Voice” forum to discuss issues in the wake of the recent unrest and calls for racial justice in our society.  As a school, we want to provide a space to process and to address these issues in our nation and community head-on.

Our “Courageous Voice” forum will be taking place Wednesday March 23rd (tomorrow) at 2:30 P.M.  We encourage our students to attend this forum by visiting the link to the forum sent to their student email address.

We welcome all of our students to join and participate in our efforts to support our Mustang Ohana and the Mountain House community during these difficult times.
