It has been a productive year for our very own Zachary Nazareno. He traveled to Arizona, Utah, and Wichita for wheelchair basketball. His team won the West Coast Conference Championship. In February, Zach went down to Irvine for a sled hockey tournament which they won. In March, he was invited to do the ceremonial puck drop at a Sharks game. In April, he practiced with an Olympic gold medalist at the Warriors facility in Oakland. A few days ago, he received an invitation to attend a sled hockey development camp in New Jersey for a week in July. The camp trains potential USA National and Olympic team athletes. He has been able to keep up with his studies while participating in each of these tournaments. We are so proud of his success and all his achievements!
