National Merit Scholarship Semifinalist

Congratulations to Sree Subramanian for being named one of the semi-finalists in the National Merit Scholarship program.  In its 66th year, the National Merit Scholarship program honors academically talented high school seniors who will have an opportunity to compete for some 7,600 National Merit Scholarships worth more than $30 million that will be offered this spring.  

Sree was identified after taking the PSAT test last school year, and was selected after the scholarship program identified the highest-scoring entrants in each state.  The number of Semifinalists in each state is proportional to the state's percentage of the national total of graduating seniors.

We encourage all students who are Juniors this year to sign up for the PSAT when it becomes available to be considered for this award.
