"Hey Mr. Fobert! How Can Parents Support Students in Online Courses?

Mountain House High School's Online Courses have been offered at the high school for the past 5 years at MHHS.  While the enrollment in these classes has slowly increase over the past several years, the decision to engage in online learning was purposeful and strategic.  During this pandemic, many of our student and parents have chosen to take online courses, not because they want to, but because they feel they need to help prevent the spread of the COVID-19 Virus.  Students who may not have previously chosen to take online courses are now taking them, and the learning experience is markedly different than what students are used to.

So, what now?  How can parents support students who are taking these online courses?  These are all great questions!  Our website is full of information about our Online Pathway courses, and how you can support your student who is taking these courses.  Please visit our Helpful Info For Parents website for specific information about how to support your student.

As always, if you have questions, or would like clarification about the online courses at MHHS, we encourage you to reach out to your counselor, or an administrator.
