Many of you may have heard that at the special board meeting last night (Monday 7/13/20), the school board decided to follow the recommendation of the county office of education and the county office of public health and move forward with virtual learning for the beginning of the fall semester. In addition, Governor Newsom announced further restrictions that increase physical distancing measures statewide. In light of these actions, Lammersville Unified School District (LUSD) and Mountain House High School (MHHS) have decided to temporarily suspend sports conditioning activities starting today, 07/14/20. Our hope is that we will receive additional guidance soon from our county officials and the California Interscholastic Federation (CIF) so that we may resume conditioning activities in the very near future.
The health and safety of our students, staff members, and community is important to us. While we understand these practices are part of a healthy lifestyle for our students both physical and mentally, we must follow the guidance from health officials to slow the spread of this pandemic.
