MHHS and LUSD Summer Programs

As our year comes to a close, we want to communicate with all of our students and families in regards to summer school.

Due to the regular online nature of our high school credit recovery model during summer school, MHHS Summer School will continue to be offered this summer. Some changes will be made this summer according to direction provided by local, county, state and federal guidelines, particularly the face-to-face access to teachers during summer school. Details about these changes will be made available on our Summer School website and in direct communication provided to summer school students.

Earlier this school year, counselors provided specific information to students and parents in regards to our recommendations for summer school. As a reminder, summer school is run ONLY for credit recovery purposes, and is not available for enrichment purposes. Only students who have received a D or F in any of the core academic courses during high school are eligible for participation in Summer School.

If you need to attend Summer School this year and have not yet signed up, please visit the MHHS Summer School website found here: https://tinyurl.com/mhhs-summer

In addition, we would like to add information about the K-8 Summer School program. At this time, due to the face-to-face nature of the typical K-8 summer school program, Lammersville Unified will not be offering summer school for K-8 students.

Our district WILL be offering summer school programs for K-12 students involved in any Special Education Extended School Year (ESY) programs that are already detailed in their Individualized Education Program (IEP). These programs will be offered via Distance Learning. Teachers and administration for all remaining summer programs will be housed at Mountain House High School this summer. The Special Education Department will be in contact with parents whose students attend ESY.

Please contact your school site if you have any questions.
