Junior Achievement Innovation Day

Several of our MHHS students had the opportunity to participate in Junior Achievement's first annual Tech and Innovation day.  Junior Achievement is an organization established to inspire and prepare young people to succeed in a global economy.  Their first annual Tech and Innovation day focused on partnering high school students in the East Bay Area with some of the region's leading professionals in technology for an inspiring day of hands-on workshops and career mentorship.  Participating in this year's event were volunteer professionals from AT&T, Robert Half, Intel, Cisco, Capital One and SAP.  Students attended workshops on design thinking, project management, and took part in coding activities.  Three of our students, Carla Contreras, Adya Mishra, and Preeti Juturu, were featured in the first annual event's promotional video.  Check it out:
