HOSA Area Leadership Conference

Mrs. Gary (HBS and AP Bio teacher), Ms. Olson (PBS, MI and BI teacher) and Mrs. Boulais (parent chaperone) escorted sixty-two MHHS students to the HOSA Area Leadership Conference at the San Joaquin County Office of Education on February 10, 2018 .   Students participated in various workshops and leadership activities with other students from schools in the San Joaquin County area.  The main events of the conference (besides a yummy lunch) were the competitive events.  Students competed in the fourteen events as a precursor to the upcoming HOSA State Leadership Conference.  (The State Leadership Conference offers over fifty events.) The table below shows the students who placed 1st, 2nd and 3rd in each event with the MHHS students highlighted. Our students received approximately 40% of the first, second and third places awarded which is a tribute to the hard work of our students.
