HOSA Future Health Professionals is a career technical student organization open to students in the Biomedical Pathway. On February 27, 2022 a small group of these students (see image above) participated in a small competition at the San Joaquin County Office of Education. Other high schools that participated in the competition included Health Careers Academy, Weston Ranch, Lathrop High School, Venture Academy, and Manteca High School. Eleven competitive events were offered in the competition including Career Health Display, CPR/ First Aid, Extemporaneous Writing, HOSA Bowl, Job Seeking Skills, Medical Math, Medical Photography, Medical Terminology, Prepared Speech, Researched Persuasive Speech, Sports Medicine. Mountain House students competed in all but two of the events. The results for the day were phenomenal with the Mountain House students achieving 1st place in every event that they competed in. Below is a list of the outstanding results. The next step for HOSA students is the Virtual Regional Competition in February followed by the State Leadership Conference in Long Beach at the end of March.
