Italian Exchange Student Looking for a Host

Cultural Homestay International places several students at MHHS each year, and their presence enriches the lives of our students.  We currently have several students at our school from all around the world staying with host families right here in Mountain House.  There is an exchange student out there looking to come to the U.S. and her time is running out to find a family.  Take a look at the request she sent to us:

"Hi, my name is Carolina Bagnasco, I am an Italian student inscribed to a student exchange program in force to come to the US for begin the next school year. I applied all the documents with Italian agency named WEP that is linked to local agency CHI (Cultural Homestay International).
I already applied for visa type J1 (sponsored by CHI) to be retrieved next august 20th in Milan US consulate.
Unfortunately, both Italian and local agencies due to contingent Covid19 situations experienced trouble to find the hosting family and relevant school.
Since the time is expiring and WEP is actually not giving us too many expectations got me really desperate.
I am writing this mail as last chance to find a suitable school that welcomes me and help me to find a hosting family. Please note that according to WEP and CHI policies the hosting families are not paid for the services. Hosting family has to provide food, accommodation and a son equivalent treatment. Other expenses remain in my due. In any case the family will be contacted and instructed by the local reference of CHI.
Hope your organization be able to solve this dramatic situation within short time, please accept my thanks in advance for you effort.
Best regards, Carolina Bagnasco"
