Early Release Dates

As a reminder, MHHS no longer has Friday release days this school year.  Our collaboration schedule was integrated into our school day this year to provide ongoing opportunities for teachers to collaborate on a daily basis.  Our philosophy is that if we provide opportunities for teachers to collaborate on a more regular basis, we will have opportunities for faster feedback loops in our educational system.  Because we also want opportunities for school-wide, and district-wide collaboration, MHHS has planned 12 early release days throughout the school year.  On these 12 days, students will be released from school at 1:30 P.M.  These dates can be found on the Lammersville Unified School District Calendar (CLICK HERE), and are also detailed in our Bell Schedule Document (CLICK HERE).
For your convenience, here are the dates that students will be released early this school year:

September 9
September 18
September 25
October 16
November 4
November 20
January 13
March 11
March 16
March 25
May 11
May 20

In addition to these early release days, students will also be released early on finals days.  Students are required to attend class on finals days, and families should NOT plan family trips, or start holidays earlier as students will miss essential assessments during final exams.  Students are released on the Wednesday of Finals days at 2:05 P.M. and are released on Thursday and Friday at 12:35 P.M.
