Help make our CTE Programs Even Better!
69% of Mountain House High School students are enrolled in Career Technical Education (CTE) courses that offer exciting learning experiences for students and we are currently looking for individuals to help make those programs even better.
Our CTE program is looking for members of the community who would like to serve as advisors to our pathways. The goal of our CTE programs is to offer our students hands-on learning opportunities that model real world applications. Advisors serve as important links to the world of work to make sure that our classes are reflecting what is actually happening in industry.
We currently offer 8 pathways:
Culinary Arts
Business
Media Arts (photography, video production/editing, broadcast journalism)
Digital Arts (graphic design, Adobe CC, advertising, video game design, animation)
Biomedical Science
Computer Science
Engineering
Dance
We would love to hear from you if you work in one of these pathways and would like to serve as an advisor. The main role of the advisor is to share real world expertise. There are advisor meetings twice a year with the next one scheduled for April. Additional roles for advisors could be as guest speakers, student work reviewers, or panelists at CTE events.
If you are interested please fill out the following form and we will reach out to you:
