Return-To-School 2021
Mountain House High School Faculty, Staff, and Administration are excited to announce the return to in-person instruction beginning of Monday, April 19, 2021. As we begin to come out of the restrictions necessitated to keep us safe from the worldwide COVID-19 pandemic, we want to thank all of our students and families for persevering through one of the most difficult times in our world’s modern history, and in the short history of Mountain House High School.
As we begin to return to some face-to-face instruction, we want students and parents to know that our return to school will be carefully planned so that continued precautions are taken to ensure the safety of our students. Please review the following information about the return to school on Monday April 19, 2021:
All students returning to campus will be required to wear a mask and follow all safety protocols. MHHS Administration will be hosting a return-to-school Safety Protocol meeting for parents on Wednesday April 14, 2021 at 6:30 P.M. Here is the link to the livestream: https://tinyurl.com/MHHSReturnSafety
All students in face-to-face classes will be required to return to school on the Hybrid Schedule. Click on the link HERE to see the Hybrid Schedule. (Students who have forgotten their Hybrid Scheduling Group (Mon/Thurs OR Tues/Fri) can find it on their Aeries Portal by clicking “Student Information” then “Demographics.” The Scheduling Group is listed at the bottom right of the demographics screen.)
Students in the fully online pathway will continue to attend all classes online and will not return to campus.
Unless otherwise requested to come to campus, all Wednesday SUCCESS! Sessions will be virtual.
All students will be required to continue to attend Advisory on a DAILY basis for attendance purposes. Students on asynchronous days will attend virtually while students on-campus will attend in person.
Throughout the week of April 12th to April 16th, MHHS will be posting and emailing updates, videos, and tips to all students and parents about the protocols for the return to school. Please check your email, our social media channels, or online school newsletter (mhhsmustangmessenger.blogspot.com) for regular updates.
Again, we are excited to have our students return to school, and look forward to doing so in a safe and secure environment.

Leaders of Today Competition
Interested in STEM or Community/Civic Leadership? Have that one project in mind that you just keep pushing back? The 2021 Leaders of Today Competition, hosted by the Leaders of Today action team of the City of Bellevue’s Youth Council, is perfect for you. The entire competition process can take no more than an hour to complete —we accept either a 500 word response or a 1-2 minute video from participants from ALL locations.
The winners will get the opportunity to collaborate directly and meet life long mentors with one of our six Adult Ambassadors, who range from an MIT professor to the Mayor of the City of Bellevue to renowned CEOs. This collaboration can lead to mentorships and ONE OF A KIND leadership positions as you gain the best support for any project your heart desires.
The competition closes on April 17th, 2021. Don’t miss out on this opportunity; check us out @leadersoftodaynw and SIGN UP NOW at our website!
SUCCESS! Reminders
As we return from Spring Break, please take a moment to review the information below:
SUCCESS! is an integral part of MHHS. It is academic time embedded within our school day for dedicated check-ins, support, and enrichment. Due to the additional needs for student support during Distance Learning, MHHS has designated 17 different time slots for SUCCESS! during each week.
ALL students need to sign up for a SUCCESS! Activity EVERY DAY in Flextime Manager
- Students will likely not be attending 17 SUCCESS! Activities with teachers each week, so students have the option to select “Distance Learning” for the times they want to work on their own.
- Students you need to make sure you sign up for every slot that is offered for the day. If you only sign up for one slot and additional slots are offered, you will be marked absent
- Teachers can request students to attend their SUCCESS! Activity on any day for additional help or support
- Students are required to attend any teacher-requested SUCCESS! Activity on their Flextime Manager schedule
- Students who do not show up to their pre-scheduled SUCCESS! class will be marked absent
- The administration will be following up with those students who are not attending.
If you have any additional questions, feel free to contact your student’s Vice-Principal. For students with the last name A-L, please contact Mr. Pannu. For students with the last name M-Z, please contact Ms. Duran. Thank you.
